Pater Noster in Sardinian/Catalan

Language: Sardinian/Catalan

Pare nostru, qui istas in sos quelos.
Our Father, who art in heaven
Siat sanctificadu su nomen teu.
hallowed be thy name
Vengat à nois su regnu teu.
thy kingdom come
Fasase sa voluntat tua, axicomen1 su quelu, gasi en la terra.
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Lo pa nostru de dognia die da nos hoc.
Give us this day our daily bread
I dexia à nos altres sos depitos2 nostros, comentenos3 ateros dexiam als deppitores nostros.
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us
Ino nos induescas in sa tentatio.
and lead us not into temptation
Mas liura4 nos de male.5
but deliver us from evil.
Parche teu es so regne, sa gloria, i so imperii en sos sigles de se sigles.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.
Amen.
Amen

Notes

According to Heinimann, this is a mix of Catalan and Sardinian: 'In der Version A werden Sardisch und Katalanisch merkwürdig vermengt: Aus der Mischung von Gessners städtischer, d.h. katalanischer Gebetsfassung (Nr. 46) und Roccas sardischer Version A entsteht durch Megisers Eingriff eine hybride Sprache, die in Wirklichkeit nirgends existiert.'
